A Victory Theme is a familiar short melody, often remixed, that is played in conjunction with a character's Victory Pose of the same franchise from the character. For instance, if the character Mario were to win the match, an orchestral remix of the familiar victory fanfare from Super Mario Bros. will play out. In addition, some characters share the same Victory Theme since they are also are from the same franchise, in this case being the Mario series. For example, Luigi, Peach and Bowser share the same Victory Theme as Mario. Thus, if one of these characters other than Mario were to win, the same Victory Theme will still play(*). The original Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl all have Victory Themes for each of the characters.

(*)The notable exception with this rule is with the Kirby franchise Victory Theme and Meta Knight's Victory Theme, which is a Rock n' Roll rendition of the Kirby series' Victory Theme.

Wario Series Theme

Description: It is believed that Wario's victory is an arrangement to the first level of Wario World. However it also has some WarioWare sounding elements to it. It also bears some similarities to "Wario Stadium" from Mario Kart DS which is also the same music heard in "Waluigi Pinball" from the same game. The theme can be heard very clearly in gameplay trailers for 'Wario Land: Shake It!'[1] though it is not known whether the theme originates from that game or was influenced by Brawl itself.

F-Zero GX Theme

Description:This is a slightly toned down remix of when the player finishes a race in F-Zero GX.

Metroid Power-Up Theme

Description:This is a slightly staccato lone trumpet/strings arrangement of the theme when Samus obtains a power-up/addition for her Power Suit.

Kid Icarus Main Theme

Description:This is an brass/orchestral arrangement of the Title Theme of Kid Icarus.

Ice Climbers Theme

Description:This is an orchestral rendition of the tune played when Popo/Nana grabs hold of the condor in Ice Climber. It has a jazz feel, like all music in the original game was composed to be like.

Pikmin Main Theme

Description:This is a woodwind rendition, with nature-like noises as well, of the 'chorus' of the Pikmin Main Theme.

Robotic Operating Buddy Theme

Description: A techno remix of the title theme to Stack Up, a game that R.O.B. worked with.

Mr. Game & Watch Theme

Description:This is an original mix that incorporates sounds from the Game & Watch series, since no original music was ever composed for G&W's.

Sonic the Hedgehog Theme

Description: The victory fanfare of Sonic is an orchestration of "Mission Complete" from various Sonic the Hedgehog titles, with it originating in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. This version is taken directly from the next generation Sonic the Hedgehog for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Metal Gear Solid Theme

Description:This is a Lone Trumpet/Orchestral arrangement of the Metal Gear Solid theme. Surprisingly, this theme was heard when Solid Snake had died or failed an objective in the Metal Gear Solid games. The reason it was used as a victory theme may have to with the fact that it was the most recognizable theme in the MGS universe, even though an original victory theme would play when Snake completed a VR training mission.
