+ | A victory theme, sometimes referred to as a flourish, or a fanfare in Super Smash Bros. Series, is a short, recognizable melody that plays at the Results screen after a character wins a Vs. match or other similar events such as a Tourney. For instance, at the Results screen after Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser (Melee and Brawl only), Dr. Mario, and Daisy win a match, an orchestral cover of the fanfare played at the end of each level in Super Mario Bros. plays. Characters from the same universe share victory themes, though , , , and have distinct victory themes separate from their respective universe's ( has his since Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS). In Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Robin, Lucina, Corrin, Ridley, Dark Samus, & Piranha Plant have distinct victory themes separate from their respective universe’s. |

− | + | An excerpt of the Stonecarving City theme from Wario Land: Shake It! The game was released on July 24, 2008 and succeeded the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which was on January 31, 2008. It is likely that Wario's victory theme was pulled from Wario Land: Shake It! before it actually released, if not, then this is an original theme. In Ultimate, the tempo of the victory theme is sped up a little bit. |

⚫ | The origin of this theme is from the victory jingle from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), which itself is an orchestrated remix of the tune that plays when either Sonic or Tails pass an Act in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. This victory theme in Brawl and SSBWU/3DS is directly ported from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), being the first victory theme in the series to have been directly ported from elsewhere. In Ultimate, the tempo is slightly faster and the ending is slightly abridged. |

A victory theme, sometimes referred to as a flourish, or a fanfare in Super Smash Bros. Series, is a short, recognizable melody that plays at the Results screen after a character wins a Vs. match or other similar events such as a Tourney. For instance, at the Results screen after Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser (Melee and Brawl only), Dr. Mario, and Daisy win a match, an orchestral cover of the fanfare played at the end of each level in Super Mario Bros. plays. Characters from the same universe share victory themes, though Meta Knight, Rosalina & Luma, Bowser Jr., and Dark Pit have distinct victory themes separate from their respective universe's (Bowser has his since Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS). In Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Robin, Lucina, Corrin, Ridley, Dark Samus, & Piranha Plant have distinct victory themes separate from their respective universe’s.
Mario Victory Theme
Origin
This flourish is a cover of the small sound clip that would play whenever Mario or Luigi grabbed a Flagpole in Super Mario Bros., a track that went on to become a recurring theme

Sonic the Hedgehog Victory Theme
Origin
The origin of this theme is from the victory jingle from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), which itself is an orchestrated remix of the tune that plays when either Sonic or Tails pass an Act in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. This victory theme in Brawl and SSBWU/3DS is directly ported from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), being the first victory theme in the series to have been directly ported from elsewhere. In Ultimate, the tempo is slightly faster and the ending is slightly abridged.
