The Fake Smash Ball has a uncommon chance of appearing instead of the Smash Ball. If a player breaks it, everyone near the Fake Smash Ball will be launched, and will not allow the player to activate their Final Smash like the real Smash Ball.
The Fake Smash Ball can be identified by the line going horizontally being thicker and the vertical line a little thinner than the real Smash Ball.
