Event Match 7: Pokémon Battle is the seventh event of the 51 Event Matches in the Event Mode of Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Layout

This event lets any character to be chosen. Both Pikachu and the player have 2 stocks. Both can only damage each other by using Pokémon from Poké Balls.

Trivia

This can be a reference to the Pokémon games, where the main character is a Pokemon Trainer, battling and training Pokémon to become a Pokemon Master.
This is one of the 4 events played in Pokémon Stadium. The others are Event 30: All-Star Match 3, Event 39: Jigglypuff Live!, and Event 49: All-Star Match Deluxe.
