The Final Battle (最終決戦, The Final Battle^?) is the 40th and semifinal Event Match in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This event pits players against the Nintendo antagonists, Bowser, King Dedede, and Ganondorf, on Final Destination. The player has two stocks while each opponent has one stock. Despite the name of the solo event, this may seem like the final solo event in the game. But if all other solo events are completed, the secret 41st solo event is unlocked. And it has harder opponents.

Trivia

• This event and Event 41 are somewhat similar to Event 51: The Showdown from Super Smash Bros. Melee. In this event, Mewtwo is replaced with King Dedede and Bowser is not in his "Giga" form. Also, all of the opponents only have 1 stock as opposed to 3 in Event 51.
• The song used for this event is Final Destination (Melee). Interestingly, this song also plays in Melee's penultimate event, Final Destination Match, with which it shares its Japanese name.
