Template:Event Event Match 2: Lord of the Jungle is the second of the 51 Event Matches in the Event mode of Super Smash Bros. Melee. It is a two-stock match between the player's giant Donkey Kong and a tiny Donkey Kong.

This is the only event match that takes place on the DK Island: Kongo Jungle stage.

Layout

After selecting Event 2 from the Event mode menu, the match automatically begins with you playing as Giant Donkey Kong vs. Tiny Donkey Kong on the DK Island: Kongo Jungle stage. You spawn on the lower left of the big center platform while Tiny Donkey Kong spawns above on an elevated platform. Both combatants have two lives in stock. The stage has a 3:00 time limit for completion.

The object of the match is to KO Tiny Donkey Kong twice. This match would appear to be a joke level based on how much the match is in your favor based on your power and size and your opponent's lack thereof, but the AI, jumping tendencies, and tiny size adds up to an opponent that is rather easy to miss with strong hits.
