Molten Norfair is the 23rd event match in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The player fights as Samus and must survive the lava wave by getting inside the safety capsule. All players start at 300% damage (like Sudden Death).
Strategies
You are playing on sudden death, which means that a slight attack by either one of your opponents can kill you. However, the same rule applies to them. Killing them simply leads to them respawning, so if your goal is to survive, knocking them out may not be the best course of action. You have two lives. That said, the high score is the number of enemies KO'd. The way to win is to jump and dodge around until the safety capsule appears and the giant lava wave shows up. You could also spam Bomb off the stage which should stall until a capsule appears. Then, you need to get in as quickly as possible and stay inside (which can be a challenge since the capsule doesn't close immediately when you get in, and the enemies will come by). Once the capsule seals and you are inside, you win. An easy way to avoid death is to constantly fall off the edge and edge grab/tether until the capsule appears.
