The Drill Arm is a new item for Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U. It is a single-use item. When it is fired, it will repeatedly hit whomever it strikes and drag them in the direction it is going. After the drill is fired, the arm can be thrown to deal damage. However, since the drill is a projectile, it can be reflected.
Trivia
- Although it's from Kid Icarus: Uprising, mixing the Needle and Stone abilities in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards gets a look-alike product that behaves closer to the Super Smash Bros. variant than the Kid Icarus: Uprising variant.
- In the 3DS and Wii U Trophy Gallery, it shows to be a part of the Super Smash Bros. universe. This is probably because it is simply called "Drill" in the Japanese version.
- Bowser Jr.'s Forward Smash pops up two similar Drills.
