The Daybreak (ジェネシス Jeneshisu?, named Genesis in Japan) is a weapon from Kid Icarus: Uprising. In the original game, the Daybreak is found exclusively in Together Mode.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U

The Daybreak appears as a new item, having to be assembled by collecting three parts, similar to the Dragoon. Once all parts are assembled, the character will be able to use a powerful beam. The character who holds it can shoot while moving forward and backward, as well as flicking the control stick to change directions.
