This article is about Kirby's different Copy abilities in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. To see the other abilities from the other games, see Copy Abilities (SSB), Copy Abilities (SSBM), and Copy Abilities (SSBWU/3DS). To see the move, see Inhale.

In every Super Smash Bros. game so far, Kirby has had the ability to copy any other characters' standard-special move with his Neutral-B attack, Inhale. If another Kirby is swallowed, only damage is dealt, but Kirby can steal a copy ability off the enemy Kirby, if they had one. When Kirby copies one of his opponents, he will also bear a resemblance of that character in the form of a hat of some kind, which usually show a prominent part of the character copied, and oftentimes mimics their voices/sounds. When performing copied attacks, Kirby will also use the same weapons and poses as their owners. When Kirby has the ability of any Standard Special Move that makes the player helpless in midair (Giant Punch, Mach Tornado, PK Flash, PK Freeze, and Rollout in Melee), the same effect will happen to him.

Kirby can choose to discard the ability at any time by using one of his taunts, though he may also lose it when taking damage. Below are Kirby's appearances when he copies the other characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

BowserBowserkirbyBowser's hair, eyebrows, and hornsFire BreathWhile breathing fire, Kirby takes the pose of Fire Kirby from Kirby Super Star.
Captain FalconKfalconpunchC. Falcon's helmet (with transparent visor)Falcon PunchKirby imitates the famous "Falcon Punch!" shout. This imitation has become famous in its own right. He can also perform the Reverse Falcon Punch.
Diddy KongKdiddyDiddy Kong's Nintendo capPeanut Popgun
Donkey KongKdkDonkey Kong's fur and hairGiant PunchSince the move put Donkey Kong in helpless state when the attack is used in midair, Kirby is helpless after using the move in midair as well.
FalcoFalcokirbyFalco's beak, "mohawk", and reddish eye colouringBlasterEven in Brawl, Kirby has the same "mohawk" as Falco had in Melee, as opposed to Brawl where he has just a single point. The copied Blaster does not have the "electrifying" effect, that the original Blaster has. This attack is also similar to Kirby's Laser ability from certain games (except they can't bounce off slopes) - the same applies to Fox and Wolf's moves.
FoxKfoxFox's ears and helmetBlaster
GanondorfKganonGanondorf's hair, eyebrows, and head ornamentWarlock PunchKirby can also perform the Reverse Warlock Punch. Kirby also does the move with an amusing voice.
Ice ClimbersKpopoPopo's blue parkaIce ShotLess effective than the original since Kirby never has a partner. Also, the costume is identical to Freeze Kirby as he appeared in later Kirby games (not to be confused with Ice Kirby).
IkeIkekirbyIke's hair and headbandEruption
JigglypuffKjigglyJigglypuff's ears and hair tuftRolloutThis Kirby hat is whatever colour Kirby is, instead of Jigglypuff pink. Also, Kirby says "Puu-rin!" for the move (Jigglypuff's Japanese name being Purin), regardless of the game being set to English.
King DededeKirbydededeKing Dedede's hatInhaleKirby can use this to perform the obscure "Kirbycide". Also, by copying this version of Inhale, Kirby can only spit his enemies out as stars, similar to the original Kirby's Dream Land.
LinkKlink2Link's floppy capHero's BowLooks similar to Sword Kirby, since Sword Kirby is loosely based on Link.
LucarioKlucarioA hat of Lucario's ears and "blindfold"Aura SphereKirby's Aura Sphere is not linked to his current damage like Lucario's. It stays about as powerful as a 70%-80% Aura Sphere from Lucario.
LucasKlucasLucas's hairPK FreezeAfter using the move in midair, Kirby becomes helpless.
LuigiKluigiLuigi's capFireball
MarioKMario1Mario's capFireballKirby's arm is lower to the ground than Mario's, thus his fireball bounces sooner and more often, therefore traveling a shorter distance and disappearing faster. This limitation in distance is easily overcome if Kirby uses the fireball while aerial, however.
MarthMarthkirbyMarth's hair and crownShield Breaker
Meta KnightMach Tornado Kirby Beginning SSBBMeta Knight's mask (with green eyes), and small wings.Mach TornadoUsing the move in midair sends Kirby in a helpless state. This move is a reference to Kirby's Tornado ability in some of his games.
Mr. Game & WatchG&wkirbyMr. Game & Watch's colour palette of black with a grey outline; also has white eyes and mouthChef
NessKnessNess's baseball capPK FlashKirby also does not wear the hat exactly as Ness does; he wears it backwards, whereas Ness wears it sideways. This may be a reference to Yo-Yo Kirby, Wheel Kirby, and/or Paint Kirby. Kirby also becomes helpless after using the move in midair.
OlimarKolimarOlimar's large nose and helmet antennaPikmin Pluck/Pikmin ThrowSince Pikmin are completely tied into Olimar's moveset, Kirby cannot use Pikmin Pluck correctly. Instead, he plucks a Pikmin and immediately throws it. The Pikmin hits opponents for minor damage (1% Red, 2% Yellow, 3% Blue, 4% Purple, 5% White) and dies once it hits the ground.

PikachuKpikaA hat of Pikachu's head and tailThunder JoltKirby also imitates Pikachu's voice while using the move. In the Sound Test, this imitation appears as sound #25 in the Kirby's Copy Abilities sound effects library (a reference to Pikachu's national Pokédex number).
PitKpitPit's diadem and wingsPalutena ArrowThis hat resembles Cupid Kirby in both the design and the attack that is copied.
Pokémon TrainerKsquirtleSquirtle's shell and tailWater Gun
KbulbasaurA hat of Ivysaur's head, bulb, and leavesBullet Seed
KcharizardA hat of Charizard's head and wingsFlamethrowerAs with Bowser, the move is similar to Kirby's Fire ability. However, unlike the Bowser Copy ability, Kirby takes the stance of Fire Kirby from Kirby's Adventure.
R.O.B.Kr.o.bR.O.B.'s eyes and diodeRobo BeamWhile R.O.B. makes no sound for this move, Kirby says "BEEP" in a monotone voice. This hat resembles Laser Kirby in both the design and the move that is copied.
SamusKsamusSamus' helmet (covering whole body) with transparent visorCharge ShotUsually Kirby obtains the weapon of enemies. But for Samus he uses his hands for the beam. This move is similar to the UFO ability from certain games (as well as the Kirby Super Star version of the Beam ability), in which Kirby could fire a different kind of shot depending on how long the B button is held (the longer it's held, the stronger the attack).
SheikKsheikSheik's headcloth and hairNeedle Storm
SnakeSNAAAAAAAKE!Snake's headband and facial hairHand GrenadeWhile Kirby has no ears, he covers where they would be if a grenade explodes near him, which mimics Snake's behavior. He also walks differently while carrying a grenade that has not been thrown, again imitating Snake. The headband is also similar to the one Fighter Kirby and Suplex Kirby wear.
SonicKsonicA hat of Sonic's ears and quillsHoming AttackKirby immitates Sonic's voice while doing the move.
Toon LinkKtoonlinkToon Link's floppy capHero's BowLike Link, this Kirby hat looks like Sword Kirby.
WarioFatmankirbyWario's biker helmetChompKirby gets the biker helmet regardless of whether or not the Wario he swallows is wearing his classic "W" cap. In addition, he also says "AH-UM!" in an amusing voice, something Wario doesn't do. Kirby can use this to perform the obscure "Kirbycide".
WolfKwolfWolf's ears and eyepatchBlaster
YoshiYoshikirbyA hat of Yoshi's headEgg LayOddly enough, Kirby grows a second tongue to use Egg Lay. Kirby also immitates Yoshi's voice while doing the move.
ZeldaKzeldaYoung Zelda's headdressNayru's LoveThis is one of the two Copy Abilities in SSBB that isn't based on the character model he is copying, the other one being Falco's Copy Ability. Not only is it the outfit of Zelda at a different age, but it is also from a different game. the headdress is in Ocarina of Time, yet the Zelda character in Brawl is modelled off the Twilight Princess version.
Zero Suit SamusKirbyzssZSS's ponytailParalyzerThough, Zero Suit Samus holds her paralyser all the time, Kirby only holds it when he performs the attack.
