The condor is a creature which appears in Ice Climber.
Origin[]
In Ice Climber, the condor would fly around the top of the mountain, while either Popo or Nana had to jump onto its talons to complete the bonus stage.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee[]
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, the condor appears in the Ice Climbers' Target Test stage, appearing in its original 8-bit, two-dimensional form, unlike the Topi and Polar Bear, which are both altered to have more realistic designs. It flies around at the top, similarly to Ice Climber, but it is carrying the final target in its talons.
The condor is mentioned in the description for the Ice Climbers' Classic Mode trophy.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl[]
The condor's on-screen appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Condor appears as the Ice Climbers' on-screen appearance, carrying the Ice Climbers into the stage. The Condor was given a detailed design for the first time, rather than appear in its original 8-bit form like in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, aside from returning in the Ice Climbers' entrance, the condor is now included in their Final Smash, Iceberg. Here, the condor flies back and forth, and Popo or Nana can hold on to it while the move is active.
The condor also appears as a Spirit, using its sprite from Ice Climber.
