Burning Dropkick (燃焼ドロップキック) is one of the Mii Brawler's Side Special Moves. The player can choose it in the Custom section. The Mii Brawler launches himself and dropkicks during the launch while engulfed in flames. It's a good recovery in horizontal terms. Use it like a Smash Attack and it charges faster.
In Ultimate, the move was significantly nerfed. It can't be charged anymore, and travels a set, although vastly reduced distance. And deals set damage due to the loss of charging. Hindering it's recovery.
Overview[]
Strengths:
- Covers a great horizontal distance when charged up; horizontal recovery method
- Great damage
- Kill move when fully charged
- Smash input variant charges up faster
Weaknesses:
- Can be easy to dodge
- Mii Brawler is left open to attack if he misses
Players that like to have a great move for both recovery and damage are sure to like the Burning Dropkick. It covers a great amount of distance in horizontal terms when fully charged making it great for recovering back to the stage. When it is fully charged it is a great kill move and deals lots of damage. However, it shouldn't be fully charged up all the time; charging up too much could result in the opponent easily dodging it, leaving Mii Brawler open to attack while he is suffering from the ending lag of the move; fully charging it near an edge is also bad news since it can easily result in an SD. When recovering to the stage, it is recommended that players input the move like a Smash Attack to charge it up faster so that they can get back to the stage sooner. The smash input can also help Mii Brawler surprise opponents by hitting them with a full charge dropkick earlier than expected.
