Bullet Seed is Ivysaur's Standard Special Move. With this move, Ivysaur will send a lot of seeds in the air, and if an opponent is trapped in this, they will receive between 40%-50% damage. At the start of the move, Ivysaur will shake its leaves on its back briefly. Any opponents to Ivysaur's immediate left and right hit by the animation will get launched into the stream of seeds, making the move even more effective with its hidden small horizontal range. The sheer damage and the opponent being caught in the air offers Ivysaur's powerful up-smash to knock the opponent off the screen.
