Bucket Sliding is a glitch in Super Smash Bros Ultimate that is exclusive to Mr. Game and Watch. To execute a Bucket Slide, begin dashing forward, then on frame 18 exactly, use Oil Panic. Once Oil Panic is used, keep holding the B button. If done correctly, Mr. Game and Watch will be stuck in his Oil Panic animation, but now freely slides around without moving his feet, hence the name “Bucket Slide.” In addition, the bucket now automatically reflects all projectiles, making it very useful in combatting fighters who specialize in ranged attacks, like Mega Man or the Belmonts.
