Which characters do YOU think will be DLC? I think we will be getting Mewtwo and Princess Daisy. Here's why.

I think Mewtwo and Princess Daisy seem like DLC and here's why.

Reason for Mewtwo: Mewtwo seems to be a very popular Pokemon and for some reason I can see him being DLC, especially because he was in Melee as well.

Reason for Daisy: If Nintendo were to release DLC at all, they'd probably include at least 1 Mario character into the mix since Mario is their number one series after all. Daisy seems like the only available Mario DLC that could be added. They can't add Toad since he's Peach's B move. They can't add Waluigi since he's an Assist Trophy. To me, Daisy seems like the only available option.

Thanks, weird that more people like to have Rotom in. I have a whole moveset for him which I will post in a blog shortly.

I agree that Waluigi can't be playable at the same time which is disappointing. But I have hope for Daisy since Peach and Rosalina are on the roster. And to those against all this ideology, NO! I will not at all take "No" for an answer! >:( I will not, nor will I want to play Smash without Daisy! Especially since she never gets to appear in the main games since Super Mario Land (technically not one of the MAIN, main games, but it's not a spin-off game), but Smash Bros. could change that. I can worry less about others like King K. Rool, but all I want is Daisy! 8 reps for 8-Player Smash won't hurt or ruin the game, and I have SOOOO many reasons for why Daisy has got to join the battle.

Okay, I'm back! Three reasons I can name are pretty small, and one is my own personal reason, but, here are my reasons.

1. Luigi is the only hero on the roster who doesn't have a girl by his side. You could argue that he can be paired with Rosalina, but she's not his original girlfriend. It's Daisy. Plus, not only did Nintendo confirm it in Mario Kart Wii on Daisy Circuit that they had a statue of Luigi and Daisy dancing together, but Sakurai wrote in Daisy's Trophy description "Rumor has it that Luigi is quite smitten with her". Luigi needs his love, Daisy.

2. Daisy would make a great addition to the Super Bash Sisters circle. The more females, the better.

3. End this riot between Daisy and Rosalina caused by the fans! Pictures online of Daisy being jealous and hating on Rosalina all because she got to appear in Mario 3D World and Smash Bros. and Daisy did not.

But these last four reasons on the other hand make perfect sense, and prove why Daisy deserves a spot.

1. Peach and Rosalina are part of the roster. Now we need Daisy to join in. We can't have just one of them like "Oh, we got Peach and Daisy in Smash Bros!" or "Oh, we got Peach and Rosalina in Smash Bros!" No, it's all three or nothing. We want the whole trio together. Have all three Mario princesses outside of spin-off games, Peach, Daisy and Rosalina.

2. If that's not enough, we have three princesses on the roster already, Peach, Zelda and Rosalina. However, we need a forth one. So we can do a really fun 4-Player Princess Battle Royale. Peach vs. Zelda vs. Rosalina vs. Daisy.

3. Daisy can't be a spin-off character for life. She's just as important to the whole Mario cast as Luigi. She only appeared in Super Mario Land and that's it... But Smash Bros. can change that! Smash Bros. can prove for Daisy to appear in games other than just spin-off titles. A vote for Daisy would also be a vote for a better future. Nintendo is losing some fans because they're not doing anything with Daisy or Waluigi. All the fans they lose are now moving on to PlayStation and XBox. Nintendo would indeed hate that.

4. Speaking of Spin-off games. That's my new reason why Daisy must become a fighter. More spin-off representation. We got items from Mario Kart (Blue Shell, POW Block, Bullet Bill etc.), we have Mario Kart stages (Mario circuit from Mario Kart 8 on Wii U and Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 7 on 3DS), a song from Mario Party 9 on Wii U, and Waluigi as an Assist Trophy. So why not have a playable character representing the spin-off games?

And those, my friend, are all my different reasons why Daisy deserves to be a fighter, and why she needs all the votes she can get.

I still don't understand what's even wrong with having representatives of spin-off games. Yes, Waluigi's and Daisy's appearance is mosty limited to spin-offs, but those spin-offs have gained an unbelievable popularity. Smash Bros also has three stages that specifically represent the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario Tennis, Mario Strikers etc. Those were all beyond popular titles. A vital part of the history of the Mario games. And aside from Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach and Wario, Waluigi and Daisy are the characters known to everyone.

I absolutely agree! And if Sakurai lies that this forth annual installment of Smash Bros. will be the last installment for the series and does a fifth game, of course he would be able to bring back the Ice Climbers (hopefully not platformed on another hand-held), but that could be the opportunity for Waluigi to be playable instead of being an Assist Trophy! :D And the opportunity for Daisy to join if she doesn't make it into this new game as DLC (hopefully she does).
