The Black Hole is an item that appears first in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It had not appeared anywhere else.

Use

When thrown, the Black Hole expands, taking up a portion of the stage. Fighters caught in the black hole will be vacuumed in and unable to escape, however, they can still attack and pick up items. The Black Hole will be destroyed by an active Stage Morph when the fight transitions from stage to stage.

Origin

Black Holes in this game trace their origin to the black hole found in real life. When they die, stars that are very massive will self-destruct in supernovas, creating black holes.
