Birdo is a character that is a part of the Mario universe and appears on the Mushroom Kingdom II stage. She also appears as a collectible trophy needed to unlock the Mushroom Kingdom II stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Role in the Super Smash Bros. games
Birdo will appear on either side of the screen of the Mushroom Kingdom II stage. She shoots three eggs from her mouth then exits on the side of the screen she came from. Any character that makes contact with the egg will take damage. The eggs can be shielded, jumped on, and by air grabbing. Sometimes items come out of the eggs.
