Auroros

An Auroros in flight.

Auroroses are bird-like enemies in The Subspace Emissary. It usually hovers in one spot until the player comes into range, after which it dives from the sky, jabbing its beak into the ground. Once it is stuck in the ground, it can be pulled out and used as a thrown item. After being thrown in this manner, the Auroros is defeated. An easy way to capture an Auroros is to walk slowly towards it, with your Trophy Stand in hand, and wait for it to shoot downwards. While it struggles getting free, throw the Trophy Stand.
