Angel Ring used on Final Destination
The Angel Ring is Pit's Side Special Move. He rapidly spins his bow in front of him and damages opponents as well as deflects incoming projectiles. To keep the bow spinning, the user must press B repeatedly, like Sonic's Spin Charge. If hit, one must move away from Pit, then go above him. Pit is exposed to any ranged grabs like Link's Hookshot while using the Angel Ring, especially from behind.
It's worth noting by using Angel Wing in mid-air Pit can move slightly in the direction it's going.
Trivia
- Pit cannot fall off ledges when using this attack.
- This is the only one of Pit's Special Moves not based on one of the Three Sacred Treasures from Kid Icarus. In fact, Pit could not use any sort of move like this prior to Super Smash Bros., as his bow did not double as a pair of blades.
