It the Super Smash Bros. series it has made an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

? Blocks appear on the Mushroom Kingdom stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and act as platforms. When attacked or jumped into, they are destroyed and will produce an item. After being destroyed, they will eventually respawn as either Brick Blocks or more ? Blocks.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

These blocks also appear on the Mushroomy Kingdom stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and produce the same effect, although they are indestructible. There are also some item blocks disguised as brick blocks.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
